Dry weather today leading to wetter and colder Thursday and Friday.  A storm system moves down the coast and thru our district later tonight into Thursday with some upslope showers possible on Friday. This is a fairly dry system so not much accumulations (maybe 1 – 4  inches in the Town of Mammoth Lakes and 8 inches on Mammoth Mtn). But its the cold that comes along this system that news worthy, particularly Friday night. Expect night time temps to dip down to near zero F by Friday night in Mammoth, minus 13 in Bridgeport and around 15 in the Owens Valley. Those cold temps will persist thru the weekend.
