Mammoth Police report the arrest of 22 year old Mammoth resident Rodolfo Centeno for alleged attempted murder.

According to police, a resident at the St. Moritz Villas Condos reported that the suspect was trying to get into their condo. Police say that they found Centeno on the front porch. When they searched Centeno, Police report that they found an open folding knife in his pocket.

When asked what he was doing at the residence, police say that Centeno reported that he was there to kill the resident and potential victim over a money dispute.

Police say that they read Centeno his Miranda rights and that during a later interview, Centeno reiterated that he was there to assassinate the resident over a failure to pay money owed to the suspect.

Centeno was arrested for alleged attempted murder and taken to the Mono County Jail.
