Bishop Police have arrested two Bishop men on allegations of burglary and other charges.  Public Information Officer Katie Coffman filed this report:

On February 14, 2012 at approximately 0246, The Bishop Police Department was notified of two males

breaking into vehicles. Officers responded to the area and located two males subjects standing near a
vehicle with the vehicle doors open. Officers on scene made contact with BRIGHTWELL, John Charles Jr.
who had several items on him which are classified as burglary tools. Officers also made contact with
HUBER, James Daniel, who was with BRIGHTWELL and located several items of property that were
taken from the vehicle.

Officers on scene made contact with the victim, and it was confirmed the items located on both suspects
were the victim’s personal property.

BRIGHTWELL, John Charles JR., and HUBER, James Daniel were both arrested for 459 PC Burglary;
496(A)PC Possession Stolen Prop Less $400; 466 PC Possess Burglary Tools; and 488 PC Petty Theft and
transported to the Inyo County Jail.
