Press release

The all-star cast for the upcoming production of Chicago is hard at work rehearsing and preparing to ‘razzle dazzle’ audiences with their rollicking song and dance routines. The Eastern Sierra is really fortunate as Playhouse 395 was one of only six theater companies on the west coast chosen to perform Chicago this year.

Your friends, neighbors and co-workers in the cast are working under the inspired vision and direction of veteran Director Martha Reynolds. The very talented cast is led by Danielle Kuhl as Roxie, Jennifer Collins as Velma, and Playhouse veteran Ron Valenzuela as the unscrupulous lawyer Billy Flynn. While over 30 singers and dancers are rehearsing on stage, the orchestra is hard at work practicing under the direction of conductor Mark Hatter.

Tickets are now on sale for Chicago which will run the first three weekends of March at the Bishop High School Theater. Brown Paper Tickets is handling ticket sales. They can be reached at http://playhouse395bishop.bpt.me/ or 24/7 over the phone at 1-800-838-3006.
