Eastern Sierra Community Choir performance in 2010.

The Eastern Sierra Community Choir under the direction of Stephanie Everson will present a Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 24th in Mammoth at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 25th at First United Methodist Church in Bishop.

This performance features Schubert’s magnificent “Mass in G”, Mozart’s inspiring “Ave Verum Corpus”, as well as Jester Hairston’s rousing version of the old gospel song “Amen!”  Christine and Tom Richards will perform soprano and bass solos and Andrew Kirk will be the tenor solo voice.  Jane Tindall will accompany.

The Eastern Sierra Community Choir is an enthusiastic band of singers who delight in learning, rehearsing and performing a wide variety of rich classical compositions and operate under the umbrella of the Inyo Council for the Arts.

This is a free concert, but donations are gratefully accepted.
