Mammoth Lakes, CA – Following the investigation into the burglary of a residence in Mammoth Lakes, the Mammoth Lakes Police Department arrested 27-year-old Christopher Ryan Patrick on several charges.

On April 3, 2017, an anonymous tip was reported to the Police Department regarding several individuals living in a home without permission on Snowridge Lane in Mammoth Lakes. The property owner reported that the residence should be vacant and he had not authorized anyone to be in the home.

Officers responded to the Snowridge Lane address and subsequently contacted suspect Christopher Ryan Patrick, also known as Christo and the self-named founder of the “Church of Fun”. During an investigation into the incident, it was determined that Patrick had moved in and had been unlawfully occupying the residence for approximately 10 months. Patrick was also unlawfully renting the residence to several other tenants.

Patrick was transported to the Mono County Jail and booked on the following charges: 1 felony count of 459 Burglary; 1 misdemeanor count of 503 Embezzlement; 1 felony count of 496 Receiving Known Stolen Property; 1 misdemeanor count of 602.5(a) Entering a Non-commercial Dwelling; 1 felony count of 368(D) Theft From an Elder. He is being held in lieu of bail set at $20,000.
