The November case of pirate CDs and DVDs in Mammoth Lakes continues through the courts.pirate_cds

Hector Gomez of Mammoth and owner of Espazio’s remains out of jail on bail, charged with two felony counts of possession for sale of counterfeit DVDs and CDs. He is scheduled to go back to court December 28th.

Cindy Flores, involved in the La Tiendita store in Mammoth, also remains out of jail on bail. She was charged with two felony counts of possession for sale of counterfeit DVDs and CDs as well as three misdemeanor counts of distributing prescription drugs without a license. She will go back to court December 21.

Mono Narcotics Agents had initiated the investigation that led to these two arrests. Representatives of the recording and movie industries assisted in the investigation. It is alleged the two defendants sold counterfeit products out of their stores in Mammoth Lakes.
