Crisis Intervention Training

Pastoral crisis intervention utilizes a combination of faith-based resources and methods of psychological cri- sis intervention. The purpose of this course is to assist participants in learning how spiritual and religious in- terventions are effectively integrated with traditional psychological crisis interventions. Persons from the fields of ministry/chaplaincy, mental health, law enforcement , crisis response, education, healthcare, disas- ter response and lay persons and individuals from any background who are interested in using faith-based resources in crisis care will find this course of interest.

This 13-hour, two-day course is from International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc. (ICISF), an organi- zation with United Nations special consultative status. Continuing education units (1.3) will be awarded by the University of Maryland/Baltimore County.

Course is $20/ person for materials
