Things have pretty much dried out over our district, save for a slight chance of a few high based thunderstorms, here and there today. On Wednesday, a trough of low pressure will slowly dip into Northern California as high pressure moves eastward through the weekend. This means that any moisture will stay over the 4-Corners area for now. So, average temperatures are in store for us ( upper 70s for Mammoth and upper 90s for the Owens Valley) with some debris clouds and lighter winds. This weather scenario will likely last until about mid August.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 97. Winds S 5 – 10 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Lows 55. Winds S 5 – 10 mph.
Wednesday: Mainly clear day and night. Highs 97 and lows 55. Winds SW 6 – 12 mph.

FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 74. Winds SW 5 – 10 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Lows 47. Winds W 5 – 15 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny daytime and clear in the evening. Highs 74 and lows 48. Winds W 5 – 15 mph.

FOR MONO COUNTY:

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 76 – 81. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Lows 41 – 51. Winds W 10 – 15 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny then mostly clear in the evening. Highs 77 – 82 and lows 41 – 51. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph.
