WEATHER DISCUSSION:
 
With all the snow we have received recently, Mammoth Mountain now has a season total to 480 inches. Another system will move in today, powered by a very strong Atmospheric River. It brings with it, extreme amounts of heavy rain and snow and the possibility of flooding thru this evening. Snow levels will run about 7,500 – 8,000 feet with another 2 – 4 feet over the higher elevations. Strong winds gusting to 60+ mph area possible in Mono County. Precipitation continues off / on into Wednesday, lingering into Thursday. Stay tuned…DMATT
 
SHORT TERM FORECAST:

Owens Valley:

Today: 50% rain. 56 F / 42 F. SE 10 – 15 mph G 25.
Tuesday: 30% rain. 49 F / 27 F. S 10 – 15 mph G 20.

Town of Mammoth Lakes:

Today: Rain & snow. 37 F / 29 F. S 25 – 30 mph G 50.
Tuesday: Snow. 28 F / 17 F. S 20 – 30 mph G 50.

Mono County:

Today: Rain & heavy snow. 38 – 48 F / 29 – 34 F. SW 20 – 30 mph G 60.
Tuesday: Snow & rain. 37 – 47 F  / 14 – 24 F. SW 20 – 30 mph G 55.
