WEATHER DISCUSSION:
 
A couple of Spring storms will bring rain to the valleys and snow in the mountains today and over the weekend. Snow levels will be in the 6,000 to 7,000 foot range. Snowfall in the upper elevations should be in the 10 – 20 inch range. Travel impacts will be likely thur the weekend. Gusty winds come along with these systems. Precipitation continues right into Monday, with snow possible down to 5,000 feet then. -DMATT-

Owens Valley:
Today: Partly cloudy —> 40% rain. 70 F / 40 F. S 10 – 15 mph.
Saturday / Sunday: Partly cloudy 20% showers Saturday and Sunday. 65 F / 33 F. NW 5 – 10 mph.

Town of Mammoth Lakes:

Today: 70% snow. 45 F / 27 F. SW 10 – 20 mph.
Saturday / Sunday: 50% snow Saturday & Sunday. 39 F / 27 F. SW 5 – 10 mph.

Mono County:

Today: Snow. 46 – 56 F / 23 – 33 F. SW 15 – 25 mph G 45.
Saturday / Sunday: 50% snow Saturday & Sunday. 44 – 54 F  / 25 – 35  F. SW 10 – 15 mph.
