Low pressure forming over the Pacific will bring gusty winds to the wind prone areas of our district today. Cooling will continue thru Wednesday with temps hanging at normal or just below. By Thursday, ridging is progged to build in over the Great Basin for a short lived warm up. By Friday a minor upper disturbance will wedge itself between the Pacific trough and interior ridge and bring some clouds to the area.

Owens Valley:

Today: Sunny. Highs 83 – 86 / Lows 52 – 62. Winds SW 10 – 20 mph G 25 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny. Highs 81  – 84 / Lows 51 – 61. Winds SE 10 mph.

Town of Mammoth Lakes (7,800 – 8,200 feet):

Today: Mostly sunny.  Highs 66 / Lows 39. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph G 25.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Highs 64 / Lows 41. Winds W 5 – 15 mph G 25.

Mono County:

Today: Partly cloudy. Highs 68 – 78 / Lows 32 – 42. Winds W 10 – 20 mph G 30.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Highs 65 – 75 / Lows 34 – 44. Winds NW 10 – 15 mph.
