A deep low is spinning over the Northern Rockies, with its bottom half over Central California and this will keep temps within climo today. Thereafter it moves east as a moderate amplitude ridge moves in from the West, Thursday and Friday. Thus a warming trend will begin thru SaturdayOn Sunday another low will move in from the Pacific, bringing on some cooling. Overall, dry and quiet weather will prevail for mid/late June.

Owens Valley:

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 80 – 83 / Lows 50 – 60. Winds NW 10 – 15 mph.
Thursday: Sunny. Highs 90 – 93 / Lows 55 – 65. Winds SE 5 – 10 mph.

Mammoth Lakes (7,800 – 8,200 feet):

Today: Sunny.  Highs 67 / Lows 43. Winds E 5 – 10 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny.  Highs 72 / Lows 45.  Winds SE 5 – 10 mph.

Mono County:

Today: Sunny. Highs 68 – 78 / Lows 34 – 44. Winds N 10 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny.  Highs 74 – 84 / Lows  36 – 46. Winds SE 10 mph.
