Today our ridge gets flattened by a Pacific storm. This will bring chances of rain and snow to our forecast area, along with strong winds. Snow levels will start high, at 8,000 feet on Wednesday, then lower to about 6,000 feet on Thursday. Right now I am looking at 6 – 12 inches of new snow in the higher elevations. Cooler temperatures on Thursday as well. System kicks east Thursday afternoon, bringing on drier and warmer weather Friday thru the weekend.
