Little change in our nice mid summer weather pattern, as our area sits comfortably between a big ridge over Texas and low pressure off the Northern California coast. So we have a dry southwesterly flow going that will bring both reasonable temperatures and keep <some> of the smoke (from various fires over the Sierra) out of the Owens Valley. Continued breezy, of course, in the afternoons. About Fridaythe low will kick into the PACNW and this will allow the ridge over Texas to move westward. So the weekend and into early next week will see a raise in temperatures to above normal.
