Well, the 4-corners high has been pushed back to New Mexico, by the every persistent West Coast Trough. This means a dry SW flow will set up. As that trough digs farther southward, breezy conditions and slight cooling is expected by Wednesday into Thursday. 4-Corners high builds back into the district by the holiday weekend, raising temps up a few degrees, to just above normal. Dry conditions will prevail.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today: Mostly sunny today and mostly clear later. Highs near 97 and lows 53. Winds S 5- 15 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and clear in the evening. Highs 95 and lows in the mid 50s. Winds NW 5 – 15 mph G 20.

FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Today: Clear skies day and evening. Highs 76 and lows 53. Winds W 5 – 15 mph G 20.

Wednesday: Mostly clear and breezy through out the day and evening. Highs 73 and lows 446. Winds SW 10 – 20 mph G 35.

FOR MONO COUNTY:

Today: Sunny days and clear nights. Highs 80 – 90 and lows 39 – 49. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph G 25.

Wednesday: Clear and breezy. Highs 76 – 81 and lows 38 – 48. Winds SW 10 – 20 mph G 35.
