Well here we are in the last day of August. Troughing off the West Coast has played a major role in our weather all year. Today is no exception. Slightly cooler with breezy conditions through out our District today. Then as the trough gets neutralized by the westward movement of the now infamous 4-Corners ridge, temps rebound to about 5 degrees above average Friday and through the Holiday weekend. As far as possible thunderstorm activity goes, there will be a slight chance over the Crest for Mono and Inyo Counties on Sunday and Labor Day. Updates to follow.
