Another day today of above normal temperatures and some clouds overhead. Tomorrow a low pressure system off the Southern Ca Coast will attempt to push onshore and if it does, we will have a slight chance of mountain showers into Saturday. By Sunday its east of the region allowing flat ridging to redevelop. Temps then will once again be on the raise.

THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today: Mostly sunny then partly cloudy. Highs 80 – 83 / Lows 44 – 54. Winds SE 10 mph.

Friday: Partly sunny becoming cloudy with a slight chance of mtn. showers. Highs 79 – 82 / Lows 42 – 52. Winds SE 10 mph.

TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES (7,800 – 8,200 feet):

Today: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 64 / Lows 37. Winds SW 5 – 10 mph.

Friday: 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 60 / Lows 36. Winds SW 5 – 10 mph.

MONO COUNTY:

Today: Partly cloudy. Highs 67 – 77 / Lows 29 – 39. Winds S 10 mph.

Friday: Cloudy slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs 64 – 74 / Lows 29 – 39. Winds NW 10 mph.
