Monsoonal moisture will linger here and there today which will help control temperatures a bit. Ridging will build across S. California as well, as this will begin a slow drying trend starting on Tuesday. Still isolated thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday as moisture continues to diminish.

For the Owens Valley:

Today: 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 93 / lows 61. Winds SE 5 – 10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Highs 95 / lows 61. Winds NE 6 – 8 mph.

For the Town of Mammoth Lakes:

Today: 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 78 / lows 54. Winds SW 5 – 10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Highs 80 / lows 54. Winds SW 5 – 10 mph.

For Mono County:

Today: 30% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms. Highs 82 – 92  / lows 45 – 55. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 84 – 94 / lows 44 – 54. Winds W 10 mph.
