WEATHER DISCUSSION:

Enjoy the mild temperatures for the next few days, as high pressure moves inland (eastward). By Sunday, a very cold, arctic trough from Canada, digs down into the Great Basin. Temps then by Monday will feel like they feel off the table, some 15 – 20 degrees below Sundays. (So the 500mb air above our area should be -34C). Temps could be the coldest of the season so far. This is another inside slider type system, with an overland trajectory, so QPF looks low. Along with the frigid weather, its brings very windy conditions and a chance of snow showers (maybe 1 – 3 inches in the mountains). More details to come…DMATT
