Weak ridging continues to hold on today, but a little moisture will still stream underneath it, giving Mono County a slight chance of showers. For the weekend, a slug like cut-off low will slowly drag itself from the coast, inland on Saturday. So chances of precipitation will gradually increase, with Sunday having the greatest possibility. Even the Owens Valley has a decent shot at some moisture then. Precipitation will be convection driven so much of it will be variable. Snow levels looks to hover around 8,500 feet in Mono County, dropping a bit on Sunday. Lingering showers on Monday as the system trodes on east.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today: Mostly sunny becoming cloudy. Highs 74 / Lows 39. Winds SE 5 – 10 mph.

Saturday & Sunday: 20% chance of showers Saturday becoming 40% on Sunday. Highs 70 / Lows 41. Winds S 10 – 15 mph.

FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:
