High pressure will build in over the weekend giving dry conditions and close to seasonal temperatures. Right now I’m looking at a series of disorganized shortwaves moving through the PACNW and N. California mid to end of next week. Most will have little effect on our area save for some clouds. But they will serve to flatten the ridge off the coast. What that means for additional moisture remains to be seen. So stay tuned for updates.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today: Sunny. Highs 65 / Lows 33. Winds NW 10 – 20 mph.

Saturday & Sunday: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy each day. Highs 66 / Lows 34. Winds NW 5 – 10 mph.

FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs 43 / Lows 24. Winds W 5 – 15 mph.

Saturday & Sunday: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy each day. Highs 46 / Lows 23. Winds N 5 mph.

FOR MONO COUNTY:

Today: Mostly sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 45 – 55 / Lows 16 – 26. Winds NW 15 – 20 mph.

Saturday & Sunday: Sunny becoming partly cloudy. Highs 47 – 57 / Lows 18 – 28. Winds N 10 mph.
