Well February left us with a kick in the pants. Many locations reported high wind gusts including: Fort Independence @ 66 mph, Oak Creek RAWS Station @ 80 mph, Jawbone Station @ 60 mph, Bishop @ 42 mph, Big Pine @ 55 and Lone Pine @ 26. Snow wise, Mammoth Mt. picked up 8 inches and June picked up 7 inches. All of this was do to a dynamic system pushing into and through our district. I expect unsettled weather today with continued gusty winds, but not quite to the level of yesterday. On Friday, high pressure re-asserts itself for tranquil weather through the weekend and into Monday.
