In the Lone Pine area, Russ Monroe shot photos of what he calls “a bit of nature for your day.” Check out the fall colors, a beautiful little flower called vinegaroon, the moon set over the Sierra crest at Lone Pine Peak and a choya cactus flatteringly lit by the morning sun.
