The second of the East Side Know How Series is set for Tuesday, Feb. 11, and due the popularity of the first event, some changes have been made for the next two.

Last month’s turnout packed the bar at Rafters, so Sierra Nevada Resort and Spa General Manager Brent Truax has expanded the venue. To accommodate Rafters maximum occupancy, Truax is having flat-screen TVs installed in the east and west dining rooms and next to the southside deck. The flat-screens will be connected to the laptop projector and sound system in the bar for live streaming of the speakers’ presentations.

Seating in the bar is limited and first come-first served. Tables in the dining rooms can be reserved in advance – a special three-course dinner with choice of entrees will be offered as well as small plates and the full Rafters menu.

To make a reservation, call 760-934-9431 or go to www.OpenTable.com and click on “Rafters.”
