On July 30, 2014 the City is hosting an interactive Open House where participants will engage in activities to provide input for a plan that will guide Bishop’s economic sustainability and growth.

Gary Schley, Bishop’s Public Services Officer says, “The objective of the open house is for all members of the Bishop community to share their perspectives on the city’s economic future. We want the community to tell us about the types of businesses, services or infrastructure the city needs for a strong economic future. We want to understand if there are barriers to attracting desired businesses, starting new businesses or growing existing businesses.”

The Open House will include interactive stations where community members can learn about the current economic environment and share their perspectives on the city’s economic future.

The Open House will last from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Residents and business owners are invited to drop in anytime and contribute to the discussion on the community’s future economic health. The Open House will be held at Bishop’s City Hall in the Executive Conference Room (377 West Line Street).

Please call Gary Schley (760.873.8458) if you have any questions.
