harrisMike Harris of Chalfant Valley, convicted of molestation and rape of a child under 14, asked the court for a new lawyer. He was denied that request and now await further developments.

Harris’s appointed attorney, Therese Henkel, said that she will raise some issues relating to a motion for a new trial for Harris on March 26th. That is the same date set for Harris’s sentencing.

Court testimony had revealed that the victims in this case were the two daughters of Harris’s girlfriend. The DA presented that the girls were between 8 and 14 at the time of the crimes.
