2014-FAIR-EXHIBIT-PANELS-034-150x150Inyo County’s exhibit at the California State Fair was extremely popular with the fairgoers.  On the final day of the fair it received the Manager’s Award which “recognizes the county exhibit that best combines a full staffing schedule with the best staffing theme, best use of costume/uniform and/or the most unique overall staffing presentation.” 

More than 19,000 people visited the exhibit with many of them interacting with the volunteer staff members who were able to share their unique knowledge of the county.  Total visitation at the state fair was up over last year and was the highest in the last six years with over 750,000 attending.  The exhibit will be at the Tri County Fair August 28-31 with volunteer staff members in attendance.
