A bad skate board accident has left one local man with serious injuries. What exactly happened is not known for certain, but Mammoth Police report that 43 year old Mammoth resident Marc Overton was found by friends lying face down in the middle of Main Street at about 2:30 am Tuesday.

Officer Matt Graeff reports that Overton had left the Auld Dubliner Bar, walking with friends. Five minutes after he left them, the friends found Overton on Main Street near the old La Sierra restaurant. Officer Graeff reports that Overton suffered head injuries and severe trauma to his face.

What exactly led to this skate board accident is not known. Officer Graeff reports that there were no indications that Overton was hit by a car.
