Congratulations to Mammoth local Jeremy Brooks graduating Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Graphic Design concentration in Illustration, and a minor in Writing. Jeremy grew up in Mammoth when his family moved to the area in 1990 to manage Hot Creek Fly Fishing Ranch when he was nine months old.

Jeremy is on the autism spectrum and graduated with honors as a member of an international honors society for students with disabilities. He is the focus of the documentary film “JJ’s Journey, A Journey about Autism” that was released in 2008 providing resources and hope to other families on this same journey. Jeremy would like to pursue a career in writing and illustrating books. He is pictured with his mother, Lori Ciccarelli.

That is so wonderful for Jeremy. I knew him in High School and he was so determined and excited about his art.
