Press release

The Big Pine Cemetery District Future Residents’ Association would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for supporting the 4th annual “Heritage Cemetery Walk” on October 16.

This year’s event was an incredible success thanks to so many volunteers. Special thanks to our historical presenters: Esther Tate by Rosemarie Todd, Eva Shedd by Jean Marland, Clemens Meyers by Pete Schlieker, Washington Lafayette Smith by Howard Walker, The Madam by Marilyn Mann, The Bartender by Sandy Lund, The Sheriff by Don Neufield, The WTCU by Chris Thomas.

Members of the Big Pine Music Conservatory, Bonnie Watts, Mikko, and Gail Rosander, provided beautiful music throughout the day.

Our knowledgeable Tour Guides were Lisa and Richard Reel together with The Deputy Dave Allen, and our lovely Gate Keepers were Marge Walker and Helen Eynon.

And another big Thank You goes to the set/clean up crew of Rick Fields, Tom Maupin, Kent Schlick, Jeremiah, Jerry and Susan Zanick, Bill Todd, and services provided by Bishop Waste Disposal, Inc.

Despite a windy start, everyone who attended had a grand time and we hope to see you all next year!
