Marie June Chalmers

1930-2014

Marie June Chalmers (84), Born in Sacramento, CA June 20, 1930 passed away October 10, 2014 in Bishop CA. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 2009. She leaves behind her loving daughters Debra, Janice, Christine and Linda, grandchildren Bryan, Sarah and Roman. She moved to June Lake in 1970 before migrating to Bishop in 1997 with husband Al to escape the snowy winters of June Lake.

Marie served in the lady bills and enjoyed playing bingo at the Elk’s lodge with friends. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. A celebration of life for Marie will be held Sunday October 26 at 1:00 PM at the June Lake Community Center. A potluck social will follow.
