A Marine Sergeant who helped coach the Coleville High School football team has been arrested on allegations of child molestation.

According to a press release, the Mono County Sheriffs Department, working with the Mono District Attorneys Office, recently arrested 25-year-old Cody Carlisle on several counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 16 and molestation of a child under the age of 18.”

All the alleged victims are minors and officials are keeping their names confidential. At last word, the Mono Sheriffs Department had not said how many alleged victims there are or the sex of the alleged victims.

Sheriff officials report that Cody Carlisle is a sergeant in the Marines assigned to the Mountain Warfare Training Center near Sonora Pass. Carlisle is also reported to be the Assistant Coach to the Walker High School Football team. Sheriff officials report that Carlisle remains in custody and is pending trial in Mono County.
