And where I ask are their parents?!
There’s not much difference between kids and “adults” these days.
Just watch Jersey shore. what a bunch of drunk over sexed idiots. And the kids these days look up to those retards!
A,unless I am missing something, these two males are ADULTS……..over the age of 18…and apparently associating with an under-age girl.
Kids these days. Too much good ol American TV to make them become this way so young. Violence and sex. Thats all you see on TV. I got rid of it and have saved a bundle. I dont miss it at all. I get all I need on the puter!… Read more »
I give good advice and 61 people dont like it. They watch to much TV too!
Big Rick and I don’t think it is really 61 people, something is wrong!
LOL Steven, well now it is a closer race … 74 likes to 62 no likes … someone must have spammed ya some likes ..
Seriously though, I guess it can happen.
Thanks for clarifying that Chief.
This was not a random act, Ness. The victim was specifically targeted and he knew at least one of the suspects. I disagree with what Sierragrl is suggesting – that if someone isn’t hospitalized, it’s no big deal. I disagree. The victim was beaten and injured and property stolen from… Read more »
I THINK SOMEBODY’S (JACKIN’) WITH THE NUMBERS HERE… 240? -240? I’VE NEVER (IN 3 YEARS) SEEN A # OVER 100,UP OR DOWN , AND THE COMMENT WASN’T EVEN THE SLIGHTEST BIT OUT OF LINE. WHAT GIVES, PEOPLE?
I agree Big Rick, I was going to comment on the number of votes on some of the other threads, they have seemed very high of late. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more than 40 total votes on any subject. This seemed to start with the Dr. Bourne articles.… Read more »
Earlier someone complained that they could vote on a comment each time they logged on, so our webmaster made that impossible and raised the number of possible comments. So, I would say it’s a more accurate representation now of what’s happening. We’ll keep an eye on it.
Benett
Benett, if you click on the green or red button continuously, the number of clicks you make is the total given.
In other words, click on a button 50 times in rapid sequence — as fast as you can — and that’s the number of you give to that button.
Thanks, Ken.

I know two of these kids, neither is a ‘punk’….looks like over-reaction from the PD….used to be if a man dishonored a young woman, her friends could give him a ‘what for’ without a problem…now days they get the book thrown at them…fyi the ‘attacked’ individual was not seriously hurt…no… Read more »
No one has ever let the lack of factual information stop their complete and full judgments from being expressed.
Yes I hear ya sierragrl about the judgement, a lot of that, and misery going around.
sierragirl…….Don’t know a lot of the facts on this one, except for the charges listed…..But you are right about saying if a man, probably drunk or high, dishonors a woman,he should be put in his place…BUT if they use a weapon…..and rob him of something…and conspiracy to doing that,it’s a whole different ball… Read more »
A previous post I attempted did not make it on this forum, probably because I had too much detail in it…so, here’s my second attempt. The juvenile arrested for conspiracy, is herself a victim of the assault victim. I expect MLPD to investigate and react appropriately to that crime…and look… Read more »
The juvenile suspect you mention, sierragrl, was in custody and questioned for an extended period of time. She never told any officer about being assaulted by the victim. Nor did this come up in previous contacts with the Police. You didn’t describe what she was a victim of, so I… Read more »
I can’t post it, the forum blocks it. I tried.
Suggestion: If you have information you think the police need, give them a call. 934-2011.

Thanks for the recommendation, Benett. It’s difficult to investigate an alleged crime when it’s reported on a website by someone with an anonymous screen name. If sierragrl has information about an unreported crime, I encourage her to contact the Police Department. My extension is 16.
Can we please learn the details of this assault before it’s swept under the rug to protect the interests of the North Village business owners or overshadowed by more “juicy” child sex triangle news? There have been rumors of a group that targets late night revelers on their way to… Read more »
Ahhh,The Village in Mammoth Lakes……..Sounds like a good place to take the family……
Nice post there Wayne, good dig on the community for their involvement in this incident, do you think the Town should all be booked for conspiracy?
Seriously though … What good was your comment?
Fact is, Mammoth Lakes IS a very good place to take your family…well, admittedly if you can afford it. Nevertheless, whether at the Village or pretty much anywhere in Mono and Inyo counties, our crime rate is very low by comparison to other areas in the state and cases such… Read more »
