One of the men sentenced to a year in Mono County Jail after a late night assault in the Village in early November, has been charged with an additional assault.

Mono District Attorney George Boothe reports that 21 year old Mammoth resident Anthony Saucedo has now been charged with assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury after allegedly beating another inmate while in custody at the Mono County Jail.

Saucedo had been convicted in January of assault with a deadly weapon and is currently serving the one year sentence in that case.

Saucedo is scheduled to be in court again on the additional charges in April.
