As part of the annual reshuffle of the Bishop City Council, a new mayor was elected Monday night. After a year in the Mayor Pro Tem, or substitute mayor seat, Martin Smiley Connolly will take over as the Mayor of Bishop for a year. Council Member Susan Cullen is on deck for Mayor next year since she was voted in as the Mayor Pro Tem.
