With the election a month in the past, the three recently elected Mammoth Town Council members took the oath of office Wednesday night.

Wendy Sugimura and Neil McCarroll passed the reins on to the newly elected council members, Rick Wood and Mathew Lehman. John Eastman sought and won a new term on the council as well.

As the new council members get to work, one of the first orders of business each year is to approve the new mayor. This time around, Skip Harvey will sit in the middle seat, taking the position of mayor for a year. Council member Jo Bacon takes over as mayor pro tem.

The new council immediately set to work, with a full agenda on their plates.
