Due to a family health emergency, today’s decision in the Dawndee Rossy embezzlement trial by appointed Judge Philip Argento has been postponed, according to Inyo County District Attorney Tom Hardy.
The ruling has been re-scheduled to August 15 at the Independence Courthouse.
Rossy was charged with multiple counts in April 2013; the primary charge is the embezzlement of $1.5 million from the County’s Department of Health and Human Services.
The trial began in February

Wondering
Can you tell us what happened today in her trial?
Yes – will be on Sierra Wave Radio 92.5 today and posted on our website shortly.

So yeah I’d take that bet @ 10/1
Rick O’Brien…..and 20 to 1 she gets it….it will be months before she sees a jail cell…..if at all.
18 more days of freedom… 18 days to get her affairs in order. 10 to 1 , she asks for a delay in sentencing to do what she should be doing right now.
