Some court cases drag on, others wrap up quickly. 35 year old Bishop resident Ty Allen Mosher was arrested on Friday after a burglary at the Imperial Gourmet Restaurant in Bishop. Wednesday afternoon, Inyo District Attorney Art Maillet reported that Mosher had pleaded guilty and been sentenced to state prison.

At the time of the arrest, Bishop Police reported that a witness saw Mosher leaving the Imperial Gourmet at 6:40 in the morning carrying a bank deposit bag. Police say they used the description of the suspect and the suspects vehicle to pull Mosher over on 395 and See Vee Lane.

Police reported that the witness identified the suspect at the vehicle stop, and they arrested Mosher.

Officers said that a search of the vehicle turned up the stolen money bag, cash, a controlled substance, and paraphernalia.

Police say that Mosher was booked on charges of burglary, grand theft, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana.

Ty Allen Mosher, was also arrested in September of 2005 for alleged burglary at Home Lumber, now Stock Building Supplies, in Bishop.

Mosher has been sentenced to four years in state prison. District Attorney Maillet says that Mosher pleaded guilty to the burglary at the Imperial Gourmet. Mosher was sentenced to two years for that crime, plus a year each for admitting two prior prison sentences.
