Times are tough for some right now. Local agencies report that more of our local people go to bed hungry, don’t have enough to pay utility bills and even face more domestic violence as the economy plummets.
In part, that is why St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church of Bishop decided to take a bold step to raise funds for the Salvation Army and for Wild Iris – to help feed and care for our people here.
We paid a visit to the new thrift store named St. Timothy’s Attic. After all, who can resist rummaging through goodies.
Episcopal Father Tony Faint said that funds raised at the new store will go to specific local agencies and other locations to help those in need.
Linda Franklin manages St. Timothy’s Attic which is open 10am to 4pm right on Bishop’s Main St.
