Super Snow Storms Blanket Slopes for Thanksgiving

They’re calling it the snowiest November since 2004.mmsastorm

Skiers and snowboarders are enjoying fantastic early-season conditions at Mammoth Mountain. The weekend storms brought 5 to 8 feet of snow to the Mountain, and more snow last night and today’s system gave everyone a nice dose of light powder to enjoy. Mammoth was reporting another 1 to 2 feet of new snow today.

Just in time for the Thanksgiving, Canyon Lodge and Little Eagle Lodge are both opening Wednesday, giving Mammoth Mountain full coverage for the thousands of people expected to flock to the Eastern Sierra for the holiday weekend.

And, in addition to snow recreation for the holiday, many of us will eat for fun. Mammoth Mountain points out that they can help burn those calories. Check out the MMSA video below with Ashley Smith.
