votersAs the Election Departments have counted provisional ballots, some new vote counts have come out but no real changes in winners.

Inyo County Clerk-Recorder Kammi Foote revealed additional vote counts.  In the 4th District Supervisors’ race, candidate Mark Tillemans now has 775 votes.  Incumbent Supervisor Marty Fortney has 763 votes. Clerk Foote said that there are still 200 ballots countywide to count.  40 of those ballots are in the 4th District, so that race remains up in the air.  In the 5th District Supervisors’ race, Matt Kingsley remains ahead with 651 votes to Jim Gentry’s 518 votes.

In the Bishop City Council race, the winners still are Dave Stottlemyre with 715 votes, Patricia Gardner with 650 votes and Laura Smith with 615 votes.  Keith Glidewell gained 423 votes and Councilwoman Susan Cullen, 418 votes.

The winners in the Big Pine School Board race are Sandy Lund with 527 votes, Denelle Carrington, 486 votes and Carla Bacoch with 453 votes.  Robert Vance garnered 371 votes.

In the Owens Valley School Board race, winners are Sandra Anderson with 229 votes and Aldene Felton with 158 votes.  Candidate April Zrelak had 122 votes.

So far, the Mono County vote count remains the same although the Eastern Sierra Unified School District  Board race between Pamela Haas-Duhart and John Peters remains 5 votes apart.  Duhart has 781 votes and Peters, 786.

The other Eastern Sierra Unified School District Board seat was won by James Little with 962 vote to Arya Degenhardt’s 621 votes. The Mammoth School Board winners are Shana Stapp with 1, 588 votes and John Stavlo with 1,386 votes.  4th District Supervisor race still shows Tim Fesko as winner with 561 votes to Bob Peters’ 484 votes.
