Mr. Richard (Dick) Thomas Vradenburgh was born in Glendale, California on October 14th, 1932.  He was a long time resident of Bishop California and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 8th, 2016.  He was 83 years old.

Richard retired from DWP after 25 years.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved the Sierras and being outdoors. He will be truly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty L. Vradenburg; sister Janet Green and brother-in-law Raymond Green of Cedar City, Utah; brother, John Vradenburg and sister-in-law Fran Vradenburg of San Tan Valley, Arizona; son Dirk Vradenburg and daughter-in-law Ila Vradenburg of Bishop; son Kris Vradenburg and daughter-in-law Becky Vradenburg of Bishop; daughter Debbie Stonehouse and son-in-law Jim Stonehouse of West Hills, California; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Richard joins his loved ones in death: mother and father Thomas and Inez Vradenburg and sister, Sharon Nye.

The family request donations in Richard’s memory be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church or Pioneer Home Health Care, Inc.

A memorial service will be held at 10:15 a.m. on January 30th, 2016 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 162 Sneden Street in Bishop, California.
