Shortwave ridging today with dry but windy weather in-store for us. Some cirrus will spread over the district today ahead of a cool upper trof dragging thru on Wednesday. Cooler air will filter into the area along with very windy conditions Wednesday. Wind Advisories set for later today and Wednesday for both Inyo and Mono Counties. There will be a slight chance of showers in Mono County as well. By Thursday, those cooler than normal temps continue then warmer weather on Friday and Saturday ahead of yet another low from the Pacific on Sunday.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today: Sunny. Highs around 75 F. Winds SE 10 – 15 mph G 25.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows near 40 F. Winds S 10 – 20 mph G 30.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny day and mostly clear evening. Highs around 73 and lows near 38. Winds NW 15 – 20 mph G 35.

FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Today: Mostly sunny. Highs around 53 F. Winds SW 15 – 25 mph G 45.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Lows around 32 F. Winds S 20 – 25 mph G 45.
Wednesday: Breezy with a slight chance of showers. Highs around 43 and lows 27. Winds SW 20 – 25 mph G 45.

FOR MONO COUNTY:

Today: Partly sunny. Highs 56 – 63 F. Winds SW 20 – 30 mph G 50.
Tonight: Partly cloudy very windy. Lows 28 – 33 F. Winds SW 20 – 35 mph G 50.
Wednesday: Becoming mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers likely. Highs 48 – 58 and lows 25 – 30. Winds SW 20 – 30 mph G 45.
