Photography

Don Schimmel is an award winning professional photographer who has photographed all over the United States and abroad including Canada, Mexico, England, Greece, and Europe. One of his better-known images, “The Last Roundup,” was named The Los Angeles Times Photo of the Year and appeared on the cover of the newspaper twice at the insistence of the owner who loved the print. “Photos of cowboys, cowgirls and the lifestyle they share are only a small portion of what I display in my booth,” says Don. “We share a world of incredible beauty and diversity; especially here in California where we can enjoy breathtaking ocean vistas, rolling hills carpeted with unlimited flowers and majestic mountain peaks.”

O’Casey Creations is a family run business. Sean and Kathleen Casey create natural Body Stone Candles which are actually a sumptuous lotion, with a wick, packaged in their handmade, individually designed ceramic vessels. The luxurious, moisturizing lotion is created from a proprietary blend of high quality ingredients chosen for their emollient skin nurturing properties. The same creative artistry goes into the couple’s essential oil diffusers that they handcraft from fine stoneware and beautiful artisan glazes. They hand-forge and patinate copper bamboo and lotus flower water spills to top the diffusers, integrating beautiful artistry with the diffusing technology.

Jewelry

Cathy Enright’s passion for creating jewelry started with a love of semiprecious gemstones, and evolved into a passion for creating contemporary style jewelry using sterling silver, copper, gold and semiprecious gemstones. The abundant natural beauty of her surroundings in California’s Eastern Sierra inspires Cathy’s work.

Short walks near her home studio and long hikes in the mountains supply her with plentiful ideas for pieces that strive to reflect nature’s beauty and forms. “What surprised me about embarking on this venture is how much joy I get from people buying my jewelry,” says Cathy. “I feel so honored to be a part of the story of a piece of jewelry that is given as a gift, or bought as a gift to yourself…to make you feel good. Because jewelry and gemstones do just that…they make you feel good!”

Painting

Charlotte Mullich searches for the grace, strength and hope of the earth found in simple natural objects when creating her nature inspired watercolor paintings. Her paintings, layered in rich colors and organic shapes highlighting the intense colors and elegance found in nature, reflect the changes of the seasons, and fleeting moments of time. “In a world of technology, my hope is that my paintings create for the viewer a moment of joy, to pause, reflect, and breathe,” says Charlotte. “In my work, leaves, twigs, flowers and animals symbolized beauty, surprise, wonder, the fragility of nature and ultimately optimism and hope in the renewal of the earth.
