We were up by June lake just past Mammoth and the smoke there ia so heavy it’s like a dense fog. The smoke starts all the way back at Mohave

I believe you are looking at the west side of Shaver Lake with Hwy 168 running along side of it. I have been there many times on the way to the John Muir Wilderness.
After the latest shutdown of all the forest land in calif. Wait till they see the effects on the local economies. Can’t wait for 2020 to finally be OVER
