We continue to be influenced by toughing off the West Coast Region. This has been with us for most of the Spring and Summer. It generally has lead to temperatures running just below seasonal norms. As this pattern either weakens or deepens, temperatures move up or down a few degrees. This is what will happen today and tomorrow, with temps raising a bit to the normal range. By Friday and over the weekend, the trough fights with the 4-Corners high and weakens, this will allow temps to raise to just above normal. Then the trough deepens again on Monday and Tuesday for a slight reduction in temps. Also this troughy pattern has prevented the intrusion of moisture from the east, thus delaying our monsoon seaso
