crowleycommunityAn unseasonably strong low made its way from the coast yesterday and inland today. Instability associated with this system fired off a few thunderstorms in Mono County yesterday. This will continue today along with scattered showers. Light snow might fall at the Crest level today as well. Gusty winds will continue as the system passes through. By tomorrow the low will be nudged out by a very large monster high, over the Southern US. Temperatures will rebound rapidly tomorrow and into the weekend, with temps running above normal by Sunday. As high pressure continues to build over 4-Corners, the early stages of the monsoon begins in the desert SW. The flow will push into Southern California by Sunday or Monday, giving us the first stages of possible thunderstorm activity over the mountains.
