As a ridge of high pressure builds in from the SE, we can expect slightly warming temperatures through Thursday. After that, an upper trough drops into the PACNW, weakening the ridge a bit. So, temps drop a few degrees into the weekend. The ridge rebounds on Sunday, once again raising temps back up again. Overall, with this see saw battle going on between ridge and trough, things remain pretty stable. So, nice late August weather is in store for us.
