Temperatures will raise a bit today and Thursday as high pressure expands into our district. Monsoonal moisture will try to “hitch” a ride with the ridge, but should remain to far south thus thwarting any T-Storm action here. Stability parameters as so far in agreement with this, still we might see a few clouds overhead. A slight cool down over the weekend is still in the “cards” as an upper level trough moves onto the West Coast.

FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:

Today & Thursday: Mostly sunny days and mostly clear evenings with a few clouds here and there. Highs in the upper 90s and lows in the mid 50s. Winds SE 5 – 10 mph.

FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Today & Thursday: Sunny days and mostly clear nights. Highs 77 and lows 47. Winds W 5 – 15 mph G 25.

FOR MONO COUNTY:

Today & Thursday: Sunny days and mostly clear nights with a few clouds overhead. Highs 80 – 90 and lows 40 – 50. Winds SW 10 – 20 mph.
