Pretty much the same weather today as yesterday, temps about seasonal with a few clouds overhead. All due to a ridge of high pressure thats moved into the area from the SE. Over the weekend, the ridge retreats as a weak upper low develops off the coast. This will bring slight cooling to the District.

Right now, things are looking a bit more favorable for a thunderstorm pattern, late weekend and early next week. This is due to a jet developing over the Sierra and Western Nevada about Sunday night into Monday. I gets sandwiched between the low along the West coast and an upper high over 4-corners. We will just have to wait and see if this pattern develops further.
